To reduce our impact on the environment, we support:
- Resource Conservation - In all Sugarbush Resort properties, we invite our guests and employees to help through re-hanging towels, recycling, and turning out the lights. Lighting in many of our buildings and lodges was upgraded to energy efficient standards. Free bus shuttle and bus service is provided and encouraged to reduce traffic and pollution.
- Recycling - We promote recycling around the Resort; from your car to the top of the mountain, recycling opportunities are everywhere. Simply ask our staff, "Where can I recycle this?"
- Wildlife Habitat Preservation - We strive to operate in harmony with the migration and mating habits of local wildlife, reflected in managed use of the Slide Brook Basin.
- Environmental Education - Throughout the winter season we offer a variety of educational programs with an emphasis on local wildlife and conservation.
