As predicted, Sugarbush has been in the "pipeline of storms" lately. With new snow every few days, including some notable dumps, conditions just keep getting better.
Mya making it look easy.
We are not even done with the current Winter Storm Warning (4 more tonight?) and forecasts are already talking up a weekend storm. Yes, there is potential for another 8 inches showing on Saturday night. Pow!
Flakes are flying.
The President's Holiday Week has been really fun, with a ton of great events to keep the excitement level high. All About Bacon with Chef Gerry Nooney is this afternoon, Fast Friday is tomorrow and the rescheduled Mad River Valley Randonnee Race is this Sunday. With the new snow, the course is in much better shape and we expect a lively competition.

Today at Castlerock.
The fastest skiers usually finish in about 2 hours, starting at the bottom of Mad River Glen, ascending to the ridge, crossing the Long Trail over to Mount Ellen, down into Slide Brook, up to Gate House, down to Castlerock and finishing at Valley House. In that amount of time, you'd be hard pressed to ski all this terrain with help from the lifts.
Coach Austin says, "Tasty!"
The best spectating spots for the Randonnee Race are usually on the Long Trail near Exterminator, or at the finish line. If you are feeling strong or just want to see how strong you are, get in the race!

Liftline is very fine!
Looking ahead, the 16th Annual Castlerock Challenge is rapidly approaching on March 9th. There is still time to train!
Fresh video from this morning.

Coach Diggity cleaning up on Stein's.

Air apparent.
We hit 200 inches for the season this morning and the snow just keeps coming. Better be here!
