Winter has been settling into the Mad River Valley and the runs continue to get better each day. The few inches we got last night, plus the machine-made snow, made for spectacular turns this morning.
The guns have been running all day, the flakes are falling again, and there is a good chance for some decent accumulation overnight. Will we have our first real powder day tomorrow? Better safe than sorry, make your plans now.

Winter takes off.
The snowmakers and groomers have been working hard to get more terrain open too. We hope to spring some beginner trails very soon. A short warm-up starting Sunday may slow us down, but colder weather returns next mid-week. Either way, the skiing and riding will likely be soft and fun through the coming days.
And flies!

Be sure to join us for the Sugarbush's annual retro birthday dance party, the Sugarbash, next Saturday, December 8th. With music from Valley favorites, The Grift, a vintage costume contest with great prizes and complementary food, there are few better ways to celebrate the start of the season.
