After the biggest storm of the winter last weekend and a mini dump two days ago, we are currently in the middle of another significant snowfall, with more on the way. It just keeps getting deeper and deeper.
Today on Lower Birdland.
The temp profiles for Saturday look pretty good for an all-snow event at elevation. Don't be fooled by valley forecasts or what you see out your window. We have been in the sweet spot, more than not, this winter.
Sunday was a major highlight, with great snow and sparkly sunshine.
The dense base that we had before the storms has been an ideal foundation for both on and off piste adventures. The mountain sure feels bigger (and better) today, than it did a week ago. We've been waiting patiently, and now is the time to seize the day. Carpe skiem!
Word to the wise, due to windholds, Summit and Heaven's Gate did not open today. Friday's first tracks on these lifts should be very special. If you need some extra inspiration, check out our latest videos here.

A Saturday Bush Pilot mission, Paul coming in for a landing.
Even though the snow should be enough to draw even the most jaded skiers and riders, our event schedule is also ramping up. The Hope on the Slopes Vertical Challenge is this weekend, in addition to a ton of great bands for fun apres ski adventures.

The 15th Annual Castlerock Challenge is next weekend!

Be sure to check out the High Fives Vertical Challenge on March 10th and 11th too. The High Fives Foundation was started by a former Diamond Dog, Roy Tuscany, and has helped many injured athletes stage strong comebacks.

Join us for the Dynafit Tour De Moon on March 10th!

Johnny Egan swimming in the deep end on Tuesday.

Gimme shelter!

Morning Star.
There is no better time to be here. The snow keeps falling and the fun doesn't stop even when the lifts do. We hope to see you soon!
