While the weather has turned unseasonably warm, the temps on the mountain have yielded some ideal corn snow harvesting. It was cold enough for a few flurries yesterday and the snow has been refreezing each night. Castlerock has unfortunately closed, but we've retained solid cover in many areas, especially on north-facing slopes.
Ripping on Ripcord this week.
Can you believe that last weekend, we had a foot of new snow? Once again, the magic of March amazes with near instantaneous changes from deep snow to bright sunshine.
The Castlerock Challenge was awesome last weekend.
The course on Liftline was in prime shape for smooth turns and big airs. Many thanks to all of the sponsors, competitors and the Ski the East team!
