These last several sunny days are really taking their toll. The snow is going even faster than we anticipated a couple of days ago.
Today we closed Mt. Ellen but will be doing some patching-up to allow us to ski and ride Rim Run, Looking Good and Elbow tomorrow. GMX and Summit will be the chairs running, and we will be downloading on GMX. For $30 you can still have some great fun and enjoy the views from the third highest peak in Vermont. Hopefully, we can continue this schedule through the weekend.
Over at Lincoln Peak, we may be running just the Bravo lift with skiing on Upper Snowball, Spring Fling, Stein's and Coffee Run. We will be winching snow up from the bottom of Stein's (where it is getting really thin) but leaving the soft moguls on most of the trail. We will also be winching the bottom of Spring Fling to keep that trail in as good a shape as we can make it. If Jester and Upper Downspout are skiable tomorrow morning, we might be able to run the Heaven's Gate lift. That would be great since Upper Organgrinder is still in excellent condition.

Unfortunately, the season is clearly winding down and we will just have to see what everything looks like after this weekend. So if you want to get those finals runs in, definitely plan to be here the next three days.
Pond Skimming is definitely on for Saturday.
We will have a fun VerMonte Carlo party with the Big Basin Band on Saturday night in the Gate House. Sunday is Dummy Big Air.
And we will be running the lifts from 9 AM to 5 PM to take advantage of the afternoon sun.
Hope to see you skiing and riding while you can this weekend.
