Sugarbush Events Calendar

We have moved the Jr. Castlerock Extreme competition to Stein’s Run. The contest will begin at the Reverse Traverse and will end at snowmaking hydrant 13. We are currently making snow on Stein's Run and resurfacing the course for the event. We expect great conditions for tomorrow.

Again, there are 30 spots for day-of registration. Registration and bib pick up will be in the Sleeper Room from 7:00am-9:30am tomorrow morning.

Calling all junior extreme skiers and riders!! Join us for the Third Annual JR Castlerock Extreme, a qualifying event for the adult Castlerock Extreme and part of the Ski The East Freeride Tour!

Open to 110 competitors up to 13 years old. There will be ~80 spots for pre-registration, 30 spots will be available day of the event, first come, first serve.

Pre-registeration is now FULL. 30 spots will be available for day of registration.
 
Competitors MUST have a lift ticket, or season pass. Parents are responsible for getting competitors to and from the event.

Schedule:
7:00AM-9:30AM: Bib pick-up/check-in Gate House Lodge on the Second Floor
10:00AM: Event starts
3:00PM: Awards in the Blazer Room

Event Format:
One run per competitor 
Youngest age category first
Start at top of Lift Line, finish where Troll Road crosses

3 judges: Each one stationed along a different vantage point of course Judging criteria is based on following:
      1). Difficulty and execution of line
      2). Air/style
      3). Fluidity
      4). Quality of turns
Competition format will consist of one competitor dropping into course every 2 minutes (may change depending on weather and judges!)
If you miss your start time, it is up to the discretion of the starter if you will get to run.
Re-runs will not be offered.
No refunds for disqualified competitors.
