It’s been another big week on the Rice Brook construction site. Most of the roof trusses have been set on the 1st building (Units 1, 2, & 3) and the crew is working on sheathing the roof. Next up, roof shingles, windows, and more interior framing.
Growth, the responsible way.
With improvement happening every day, now is a perfect time to be a part of Sugarbush and its growth. Today, Sugarbush is owned and operated by Summit Ventures. Led by Win Smith, chairman and CEO, they are a small group of private investors, skiers and riders devoted to the long-term success of the Mad River Valley and Sugarbush. Together, they've created a new vision for Sugarbush that embraces the resort's fundamental notion that life truly is better in the Mad River Valley. They are the inspiring force behind a dramatic revitalization of the resort. The rejuvenation of Lincoln Peak Village and the establishment of Clay Brook Hotel and Residences was just the first step of a much larger, encompassing project. The next step, Rice Brook - 15 privately owned, slopeside residences, is currently under construction and will be completed this fall.
But of course, we wouldn’t be true to our Vermont roots if we didn't develop Lincoln Peak Village with the utmost respect for its surrounding environment. We adhere to sustainable practices to reduce our ecological footprint across everything we do.
