Formerly known as Catamount Adventure Camp, this exclusive program is reserved for the boldest and most passionate young skiers and snowboarders. Led by our finest and most experienced children's coaches, it's the ultimate way for kids to conquer the unrivaled mountains of Sugarbush.

Prepare your young daredevils for an unforgettable journey through our mountain playground. The Advanced Kids Camps are carefully crafted to foster an environment of safety and exploration. Our top-tier instructors guide participants in mastering the art of skiing and riding on the most challenging terrains, including steeps, bumps, parks, and our legendary wilderness areas. Each student's ability level and aspirations are meticulously considered when selecting the terrain, ensuring a customized and transformative experience.

Safety is our top priority, and our seasoned pros are experts in instilling a sense of responsibility through effective group management, tactical knowledge, and a deep understanding of the natural environment. With a small group ratio of 5/6 guests to 1 coach, each young adventurer receives personalized attention and guidance. Our coaches may be on skis, boards, or telemark gear, ensuring that every child's unique preferences are accommodated.

Prerequisites:
To qualify for the Advanced Kids Camps, participants must already possess the skills to tackle expert terrain with confidence. Please note that participants may be reassigned to a Sugar Bear group based on their ability, ensuring a curriculum perfectly aligned with their progress.

Details

Program includes lunch at resort cafeteria
Advanced Kids Camp meets on snow at 8:45 AM (for a 9:00 AM departure) outside the Farmhouse Ski & Ride School desk. Pick up is on snow at 3 PM.
Please arrive early on first day of stay, during holiday weeks, and if renting equipment.

Know Before You Go

Please ensure your child has warm, waterproof layers, gloves/mittens and eye protection (sunglasses or goggles).
Your child (ages 14 years and younger) is required to wear a properly fastened snow sports helmet when participating in a ski or snowboard lesson.
Participants may use terrain features and jumps while skiing and riding in a lesson.
If your child’s equipment malfunctions, Sugarbush Resort staff may select and sign for rentals from our rental shop.
In the event of your child’s injury or medical emergency Sugarbush Resort staff may contact medical personnel and/or arrange transportation to a medical facility. In case of emergency, we will attempt to reach the emergency contact provided at the time the lesson was purchased.
Sugarbush Resort staff may supervise transport of your child by van and public bus to other locations within the resorts.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made prior to 72 hours of the start date will receive a refund, minus a $50 cancellation fee per order.
Cancellations made within 72 hours are non-refundable
There is no fee to change (reschedule) lessons prior to 72 hours of lesson start date
Changes made within 72 hours and at least by 4pm the day prior to lesson date will be charged a $50 rebooking fee per lesson
Day of changes are not permitted
If the resort is open for skiing/riding there are no refunds or cancellations due to weather, please plan accordingly.
