Sunrise First Tracks

There’s truth in the old proverb “the early bird catches the worm.” At Sugarbush, you can take it a step further and catch the first tracks with a private Cat Ski and Ride Tour. Hop aboard our enclosed Husky Cat for an unforgettable experience, where you’ll carve through pristine, deep powder or untouched corduroy, all before the lifts open.

Departing from the base of the Gate House Quad, these guided tours give you exclusive access to terrain off the North Lynx Triple. Tours are weather-dependent and require adequate snow cover, and are available for ages 12 and up with advanced skiing or riding abilities—beginner terrain is not available at this location. The number of runs depends on the group’s pace, with most tours averaging five runs.

For your comfort, guests are encouraged to bring their own water bottles or hydration packs and snacks, which can be stored in the cabin cat.

Tour Details:

• Cost: $129 per guest
• Meeting time: 6:30 AM at the base of the Gate House Quad
• Departure: The Cat leaves promptly at 6:45 AM—be sure to arrive on time, as late arrivals will miss the Cat, and refunds will not be issued.
• End time: Around 8:30 AM
• Booking: Reservations required by 12:00 PM two days in advance
• Cancellation policy: Cancellations made by 12:00 PM the day prior are eligible for a full refund; cancellations made after that time will incur a processing fee.
• Minimum: A minimum of 6 guests is required for the tour to run. If the minimum is not met 48 hours in advance, the tour will be canceled and a full refund will be issued.
