2:00 PM — 5:00 PM
Please note, this event has happened in the past.
Day will become night at 3:27pm on Monday, April 8th when the total eclipse completely blacks out the skies above Sugarbush, VT. So why not have a party?
The Grift will be on stage in the Lincoln Peak Courtyard playing Pink Floyd’s Dark Side of the Moon when the once-in-a-lifetime phenomenon envelopes Sugarbush. And they’ll be sticking around for a post-Totality set while we serve up Tequila Moonrises, foamy bevs and a buffet out of Rumble’s.
Here’s your schedule:
• Lifts begin spinning at 10:00am
• The eclipse event begins at approximately 2:15 pm as the moon begins its transit across the sun.
• Live music from the Grift from 2:00pm to 5:00pm.
• Lifts shutdown at 3:10pm and will resume spinning once daylight has returned.
• No Foot Passengers allowed on the lift. If you take the lift up, plan on skiing or riding down.
• Specialty cocktails and food available in the Castlerock Pub and Rumble’s.
• Commemorative Totality-viewing glasses will be FREE in the Adventure Gear Shop starting at 12:00pm today. Supplies are wickit limited. Specialty merchandise will be on sale in the shop. Grab a sticker.
• Lifts at Mt. Ellen are closed for the season, but uphill travel will be allowed. NO uphill travel allowed at Lincoln Peak’s Heaven's Gate due to construction of a new quad chair scheduled to open for the 24/25 season.
• Mt. Ellen’s Green Mountain Lodge will be open from 12 - 5pm, bar only.
• Lifts close at 5:00pm. Party continues through Saturday, April 13th with G. Love taking the stage for the Third Annual Spring Fling Music Fest.
